Yes, Jesus Christ is alive today. There is strong evidence for the fact that he was resurrected to life. For a start, no one could produce a corpse to prove otherwise, even though the religious rulers of the day would dearly have loved to do so. They tried to spread the rumour that Christ’s disciples had stolen the body. Had that been true, Christ’s frightened and disillusioned company of disciples would have remained in that feeble state. The reality was that they were transformed and galvanised into action as fearless and energetic preachers of the Gospel in the Mediterranean region. The book of the Acts of the Apostles details their zealous activities and the results of them, and the consequent persecution they endured.

Their message was founded upon the incontestable fact of Christ’s resurrection, and they hazarded their lives to proclaim it. Furthermore, they taught emphatically that the living Jesus Christ will come back to earth to fulfil his destiny to be King of the world – that is, to return literally, personally and visibly. The biblical hope of life after death is by bodily resurrection when the risen Christ returns to earth (1 Corinthians 15:17-23),

To help you get to grips with this crucial subject, we invite you to a free Bible presentation on this vital topic, Sure evidence of Christ’s resurrection. This will be at 7.00pm on Sunday evening the 13th of October. The venue is the Christadelphian Hall, 489 Mount Gravatt-Capalaba Road, corner of Boyanda Street, opposite Ham Road, Wishart.
