If you attend a church, or perhaps intend to do so, it’s probable that you believe that there is a God and that Jesus Christ is His Son. If that is so, then it’s really important to understand what God has revealed about Himself and His purpose in His inspired word, the Bible. God’s word is accessible to all of us and He, as our Creator, has every right to expect us to seek to read it and to understand His message. God wants us to appreciate and believe what His book tells us so that we understand His perspective, His requirements and His promised solutions to mankind’s problems. Consequently, it really does matter what we believe. What’s more, God expects us to respond to what he has revealed in the Bible by obeying what He requires of us. His word tells us what we ought to do to obey Him and how to associate ourselves with the saving work of His Son Jesus Christ. The benefits of doing this are incomparably wonderful.
We invite you to a free Bible presentation on this vital topic, Why it matters what we believe. The time and date for this is 7.00pm on Sunday evening the 26th of November. The venue is the Christadelphian Hall, 489 Mount Gravatt-Capalaba Road, corner of Boyanda Street, opposite Ham Road, Wishart. That’s on Sunday evening the 26th of November at 7 o’clock.
