For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation to everyone who believes

Christadelphians: brothers and sisters in Christ
This Bible Talk site is brought to you by the
Who we are
We are a family-oriented church, part of the global Christadelphian community.
We believe in the one true God and we follow Jesus’ instructions for life, awaiting his return to the earth to reign as king.
We pray and read the bible every day -talking to God and reading His word are an important part of everyday life.
As a group of believers, our main purposes are to encourage and support each other to faith in God and good works during life’s journey, and to preach the gospel – the good news of the coming Kingdom of God to be established on the earth.
Our service to each other and the community is organised through committees of members, without paid clergy or administrators.
Everyone is welcome to visit. However, taking of the bread and wine at memorial meetings is reserved for baptised Christadelphian members only.
There are two steps to joining as member: belief and baptism into the Christadelphian world-wide ecclesia.
We believe
The whole Bible is inspired by God
God is one and He created the world and all life in it
Jesus is God's Son who died and rose again to open the way of salvation for us
Belief and baptism are essential for salvation
Life after death is only possible through the resurrection after Jesus returns
Jesus will return visibly to earth to reign as king
After Jesus returns worldwide peace and justice will be established and the earth will come to reflect God's glory

Church Services
Our church services are called a ‘memorial meeting’ because the primary focus each Sunday is to remember Jesus and His sacrifice for us, as well as listening to words of exhortation (encouragement) and singing praises - all to the glory of God.
Attending the memorial meeting is an important focus for Christadelphians, where all baptised members each week take the bread and the wine (referred to as “communion” at other churches).
A different member of the ecclesia (congregation), or a visiting member from another ecclesia, prepares an exhort each week based on a chapter from the bible (similar to a sermon).
Services are held every Sunday:
Normal Time (to 8 December 2024) - 11am
Summer Holidays (15 December 2024 to 26 January 2025) - 10am
Normal Time (from 2 February to 7 December 2025) - 11am
Everyone is welcome to visit. However, taking of the bread and wine at memorial meetings is reserved for baptised Christadelphian members only.
Sunday School
During the Queensland State School term, young people aged 4-17 are warmly invited to attend Sunday School with us at no cost.
Each lesson is focused on learning about God and about God’s book, the Bible using age-related activities such as exercise sheets, craft and singing.
For older teens, there is a First Principles class, which focuses on deeper discussion about bible related topics.
An adult bible class is held at the same time for parents / adults who are interested in learning - or simply just stay for coffee and a chat.
There is also an annual Sunday School picnic, prize night and family camp.
All teachers are blue card holders and a child protection policy is in place.
Sunday school commences at 9.15am and finishes at around 10.30am, with morning tea provided before the memorial meeting commences.
We would love to see you!

Bible Education
We believe that the whole Bible is inspired by God – it is God revealing Himself to us, with a central theme of His promises and our hope running through it.
Did you know there are 66 books in the Bible? This may seem like a daunting prospect to read it all, but there is a way.
As students, we study many versions of the Bible, as well as making use of resources such as a concordance to help to understand the deeper context behind what is written. It is up to us to read His word and to respond to His call.
We want to let you know what the Bible really teaches - the Bible Education website will help you to determine this for yourself.
There are courses, fact sheets, booklets and other articles (all including Bible quotes) to help you to understand the Bible and its message.
